I’m not going to say that i’m an expert but IIRC Vworp as a sound effect first appears in issue 40 of ‘Doctor Who Weekly’. Its the 2nd panel of the first installment of Steve Moore and Dave Gibbons’ ‘The Collector’ and is written as ‘VWORPVWORP’ it then vanishes for several issues with the dematerilasition portrayed solely through fainter inks. it returns over the first three panels of issue 53’s ‘The Deal’ by Gibbons and Steve Parkhouse.
